Is the book always better than the movie, or did the adaptation do the book justice? Watch the movie or read the book (or both if you're feeling ambitious) and tell us which is better. Copies of both are available for checkout.
This month we're discussing the cult coming-of-age teen classic, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Author Stephen Chbosky also directed the 2012 film adaptation. An introverted freshman, Charlie, is taken in by a group of eccentric seniors who help him survive the ups and downs of high school.
Watching movies is more fun with an audience! Join us on Wednesday, September 20 for a screening in the library.
